Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is a American model, actress and fashion designer. Her birth date was 13 February 1979. After a brief run modeling fashions, she quickly transitioned to acting, appearing as a guest on television shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. She debuted in the film industry in 1997's thriller film Nowhere. Her performance as a character in American Beauty, for which she received the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie made her the focus of a wider attention. She has since appeared on screen in Loser (2000) with her American Pie co-star Jason Biggs and then played the principal role in the comedy film Sugar & Spice (2001).
