Sofia and Ann

The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was 5 years old. She was raised in Orange County. In 2015, she graduated from the University of California San Diego and made her debut in acting. Pernas appeared in minor roles in NCIS as well as Leverage, but she landed the part of Marisa in The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap her actress was offered a role as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. She speaks four languages. She has appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Then, in Blood & Treasure, from 2019 until 2020 she portrayed Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly announced in May 20th that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley who was her co-star for The Young and the Restless. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. Pernas Hartley tied the knot secretly with Pernas in May 2021. At her Los Angeles home, on a recent day of rain Ann-Margret strayed away from her usual gauzy voice by letting out a grunt. Three, two and one hours rock! It was more Joan Jett in tone than Kim McAfee, who was the vivacious persona she was in as part of Bye Bye Birdie, a film that helped her become instantly a well-known brand.
