Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer acknowledged as being one of the band members in the band One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, Harry Styles is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own music group with three of his classmates. The band was identified as White Eskimo. The band won in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks due to its outstanding presentation. He always showed an interest for music. He wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapy. At one point, he worked part-time in a bakery within his town to help to support his family financially. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The group was then forced to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to become part of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The band's formation became a reality in the year 2010. The five young people were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. The group was placed in third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nonetheless paid two millions of pounds One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
