Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. She was the first female gymnast from America ever to win four gold medals in one Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles together with her twins Adria and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles took home a medal for vault and a bronze medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin competing in elite levels of the sport. Within less than two years, she had become the top athlete in her field. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her exuberant personality and the high degree of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
